"Night and Day" snapdragon

Lake Toxaway, NC(Zone 7a)

Does anyone have this seed? I only have a little tall purple cleome (spider flower)and some purple foxglove to trade. I would be willing to pay postage if you don't need the seeds I have.

I believe I have some "night and day" snaps wood, let me check when I get home. Don't need the cleome or foxglove but SASE would be fine if I have some left.

Day and Night is red and white. I'd love some. Let me know how much postage you want if you have Day and Night. Can I start it now? It's a little late, I realize, but we have pretty cool summers here in the mtns. of NC.

I checked last evening. I do have the day and night snaps, but I have all the seeds potted already. I ordered them from Park Seed a few weeks ago so you may still be able to get them from their site. I only purchased one pkg of the day & night and then got another package of snaps of another variety. I'll bet you could still get some going.
Will be sending you a few of the cherry red cleome in a day or so (don't have many to spare), but just a few will produce many seeds for you for next year. I have about 40 started in pots and will also have a zillion seeds to share this fall.
Is there anything else you may be interested in while I'm sending? I have lots of giant marigolds, mixed zinnias, larkspur, van gogh sunflowers? That is just tip of iceberg, not sure what else I have till I check.

I have a package from Select Seeds that they sent me free. I'd be very willing to share. Send me an sase and I'll get them off to you.

Wood, sent the cherry cleome out today. Just left the few I had in the original pkg with sowing instructions on the back. Good luck, if you get yours going you'll have loads of seeds next year.
Will surely have seed from the Night& Day this fall and will keep you in mind for some of them.

thanks haighr. I would have liked some larkspur, too, but I'm really after those snap dragons. I will try through Kathleen.
Kathleen, I will need your address; will you e-mail me?

Sorry wood, didn't know about the larkspur.

that's Ok, It's not the highest on my "want" list. Do you find that cleomes can be started inside? I have heard that they do not transplant well. I didn't have much luck when I tried some inside.......

I have done them in and out wood. I had some that were started inside and got huge 5' tall with great flower heads. I start some inside, transfer to peat pots and then just plant the whole pot. I then take all the seeds I have left (many from last years plants) and sprinkle them around the loose ground. I know so people locally who have them come up every year like other perennials, but for some reason they don't in my gardens, perhaps because I harvest most of the seed before they can drop.
I started the cherry red inside and have about 20 or so up already and will plant them together in a few weeks in hopes of having a good crop of seed for next year.
