Your picture looks fake. It looks like a painting. I really think it is a beautiful shot. Pictures like that aren't hard to take, they are almost impossible. That's the shot I take everytime(TRY TO). If I can stop that one moment in time ,I have done my job. That flower is gone, yet I will always remember it. Good shooting

Thanks! I took that with my 2.0mp polaroid. I was able to get some really nice macro shots with it. I love the oly but there is a very steep learning curve that I am working on. I think I am going to miss point and shoot.

I think you will find that once you have learned the new way to do things you will not go back. The mind hungers for new great ways to explore one's creativity. Some doors close, but many more open, change is good. This is an example of a fake picture, it's not, it just has that different look.

Nice shot, is that an osteospermum? Can't wait for the flowers to start coming up, I love photographing them and can't wait to see what I'll get with this camera.

What camera do you have? I like mine because I can see through the view-finder what I am taking. It's a Fuji S5000

That is a nice camera, one that I seriously considered buying. I ended up with the Oly c-750 only because I prefer a glass lens over the acrylic. Had the fuji's lens been glass I would have opted for that camera, I loved the feel of it.

The Oly's view finder is an EVF, similar to the one on your camera. I love seeing exactly what is going to be in the picture.

We are going to Florida in a couple of weeks so I am going to have lots of practice....wooohooooooooo!
