Rock Hill, SC(Zone 8a)

I brought back one plant from my Dad's house in Ga. about 8 yrs. ago. They really grow fast because I have spread them all the property, in sun and part to little sun.

Ever since I saw the picture of this gorgeous bush, I've been hunting all over, and haven't had any luck at all....

Is this something I should be looking for in the fall, or is it that it is so rare, that none of the nursies carry it......oh, please.....such a woodland beauty!

I've hunted in Volusia, St. Johns and Flagler Counties here in Florida with no success.....

Hi Grakay,
I've talked to the garden centers here and the all tell me that this is an "old fashion" plant. One nussery near me barters with me and I give them these plants and they give me pine needles. I would be glad to send you some plants. I think they will make it. I can cut them back and wrap them up so they won't dry out. In a year or two, they will spread and give you lots of color.
Thanks for the mail,
George.

Another very interesting plant. So many plants have become hard to find because growers see them as unworthy in some way. But this plant looks like it would be popular if it were made available.

Hi Poorgeorge,

Thank you so very much..I was so excited to see your post this morning.........
I am new to trading, and would love to be a part of it, but right now, all I have to offer are some Japanese Plum Tree seeds, if you are interested.
Thanks for responding, and check your email!

Gracie

Hi Grakay,
Thanks for you interest. I'll dig up some shoots and cut back a larger one, wrap the roots up in a plastic bag, box them up and go to the post office tomorrow and send them to you. I hope you enjoy. Give them a year or more to start showing off. I got your E-mail with your address.

Hello Busybee,
In busybee's page you have a "fragarant 6" white flower" pictured but no name. What is it? I have a spot for something like that. Does it need sun or shade? And I would be glad to send you some plants from the "Yellow rose of Texas".
