I have one but its a very slow grower...I've had it for 3 years now .When I got it it had one leaf,it then grew a new one.....the next year it got 2 new leaves......its just now sending up shoots for 2 more leaves........

I'm afraid to divide it yet.........

Oh no - I wouldn't want you to!! Mine has one leaf, I got it last year at the Round-up & just really lke it, didn't think it would be such a slow grower, maybe this year I will get a new leaf too! I never thought it would be such a slow grower. I have plenty of the solid dark green it sems to multiply at a normal rate. Thanks for the thought!

I had one, it went from one leaf to no leaves.... I guess it is the green one's that are truly 'cast iron' plants. Now I grow Clivia in the dark corner where the Aspidistra used to linger...

Hey, I have some I can spare. I would love to get some of your lady banks rose in trade. I've decided to replace my hybrid teas with old fashion roses and climbers.

Let me know,

Daisy - I suppose you know that "Lady Banks" is not a "real" rose. I don't have any rooted, but will happily send you cuttings if you can root them.

not "real"?

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

Well, to me it is not a "real" rose, it has no thorns or wide petals like a "normal" rose!! The leaves are the same and it can be trained as a climber. Very pretty in the spring, mine is in full bloom now, but it will not bloom again til next spring, then only for a couple of weeks.
