Hon, any type of hot peppers will do well for you in your tropics home.

The hotter the better, and they are not necessarily annuals there wither.

And in general, the hotter and drier the weather , the hotter they will get.

In other words, just because yu grow any given variety, doesnt mean that the vaiety has one invariable heat level
(scoville units).
