Oh my goodness, that one is soo pretty, what is it called?
I had a start sent to me but it lost all the leaves and so far I think it is dead, but not sure. Never had any before so am going to try to read up alot on them before I try for some cuttings!!!

Just wanted to see what yours is called and say how pretty it is!!!

Happy Spring (finally!!!!) to you!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I'd love to know which one that is too. Me thinks it isn't available here, but it's nice to dream.

(Mary) Poway, CA(Zone 10a)

It's lovely! Wrap it up, I'll take it!

Good thing we can't get them all here, or you know we'd have them all .... and no where to put them. Hmmmm, maybe we could park the cars in the street, and turn the driveway into another garden bed. Sounds good to me.

Thank you Ludger and a Happy Start to Spring to you too. This brug is beautiful. I don't think I've ever seen one that wasn't beautiful, especially yours and Monika's.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

That one is totally my favorite, I love pinks. Thanks for sharing, makes spring look better all the time.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

He just likes to tease us.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Sorry, I never again will post a picture from european brugs,...or did I missunderstand anything? :-)

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Gee, I do not know Ludger. I noticed very few people commented on the beautiful brugs Bruno posted that were European also. I wonder what is up? I love all the brugs regardless of where they come from! LOL

Co.Wicklow, Ireland(Zone 8b)

I think you mis-understood the point a little, But You needn't worry about me Kell, I'm welllllll used to it..LOL
Just think of me as the little boy in "The Emperor's New Suit" story...Now picture the crowd..LOL Just kidding!

Best wishes always,

Bruno

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Ludger, please don't stop posting them. It's so wonderful to see what one can do if given enough time to hybridize and do it right. It's a beautiful flower. It still amazes me that with this x that you can make something so uniquely different than all the rest.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I love seeing all the brug blooms, whether they be from Ludger, Monika, Bruno, Anne Kirshner Abel, hope I spelled that right, or from our own US brug growers. Sorry if I left anyone out. This is the time of the year when we all have our minds on growing our own brugs and if we neglect to say something is pretty or make a joke when we do post, nothing bad is intended. Our minds are just on too many things right now. At least this is what is going on in my mind right now. I wouldn't even be in here now if I hadn't needed to put a chicken in the oven. Glad I remembered to do that!! LOL!!

Co.Wicklow, Ireland(Zone 8b)

LOL Brugie!

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Beautiful picture Ludger. You are fortunate to have so many wonderful brugs. I love seeing everyone's pictures that are posted.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Keep those pictures coming! We need them to keep our moral up, with bad winter, slow spring and ongoing war. Please keep brightening our lives, we need it bad.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Smile, I was teasing like Patricia and Gloria did be.. Of course I will continue " teasing " you. Kidding again...

We have had Christmass time, we have had bad wintertime, now we should come back to new growingtime.Everlasting yesterday is boring and slow.
Bad who is thinking bad right know.
Letīs continue together growing brugs.

Pretty, pretty, pretty!
Well I took some of my brugs for a walk out into the fresh air today. Gave them a little haircut, and yes, I boiled water for my tools. I might be imaging it, but they seemed happy to be outside.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Yes, my plants are happy to see sunshine and have outside fresh air, ME TOO! Spring can't be too far off, can it?

Got carried away here, thinking about sunshine and spring. Picture is gorgeous Ludger, looks like orange stripe in the one bloom, so pretty!

Liz, what about my hair? It is too long...three cuttings for one haircut ??? Short and ears free..lol. I did exactly the same you talked about. My brugs like it,too

Gloria, I am shure spring is coming there and here. I very like to make long walks with my dogs every morning. Birds are singing and wild plants are flowering like crazy.

This brug with orange stripes has buds in GH ( itīs Pfalzgold )Last year I watched it at Monikas, this year I may watch it here.
SMILE, brugfriends are like a golden springsun.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Pretty neat picture. Spring and sunshine are on their way out here. 25 degree nights for two nights and cold and wet with either rain or snow or both. Not to encouraging, but spring will come one day...just can't figure out which day.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Shirley, slowly I am understanding your "crazy" weather..in Iowa.
I am sorry for you. We will have it in April. We say: April is doing what he wantīs to do.. cold, warm, snow or rain.No one will know.
May is the month for starting real outside. Am I in Iowa ?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Yep!! We don't put anything out until May either. I've just really needed to be playing in the dirt though. Seems like our winter has gone on way too long. At least I have my little greenhouse and it is full to the brim with seedlings of every kind, including brugs. That is what keeps me sane right now. Then the cold comes and I worry about power failures. I just need spring.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

We are all needing spring! This crazy winter has gone on long enough. Every day it is getting better, can't get any worse........can it?!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I feel so bad for you guys! I spent the afternoon at Filoli (Fi = FIight for a just cause, lo= LOve your fellow man, li=LIve a good life)(it is the mansion that was shown in the opening credits of Dynasty) touring the gardens. The wisteria is out, the bulbs are in full glory, the hundreds of camellias were amazing. It felt so alive and the sun was shining.

Now I know what that web site was all about. Bet it was a great afternoon. Why weren't you at work??? Were you taking a skip day?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Went with the Mrs. Owner........... LOL! But what gardens. You all would think you were in heaven.......well maybe not.....not 1 brug!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Well, you'd better sneak a brug in there!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL Gloria.......I thought the same thing! If they saw Monica's garden I bet they would be interested.
