Moving Gingers

I have a bed of various gingers that ive been meaning to thin out and move around. Some have started sprouting already, some are still dormant.
Is it too late to move them? If not, what would be the best way to move them?

Hey Jen, no, it is not too late to move them, go ahead and do it now. You can remove just the bare rhizome or move them with the dirt around it, gingers down here are not picky on how they are treated.
