Thanks Kell! This pic was taken after an unexpected shower!
I have a cannon powershot PRO 90 IS digital...great camera for the price...I am looking to go more professional though and this does not meet my needs! :(

It sure does great close ups. My canon does not do pictures that have a lot going on in them very well..they look flat and lifeless. What are you thinking of getting? I need to change also but I love how mine is so tiny.

PLEASE share your thoughts about cameras, Chamma. I am shopping now.

Thanks.

Adam.
PS: Another terrific image. Your composition and use of depth of field is totally professional.

Thanks Adam and Kell... I have been looking at the Canon EOS-1DS which is the world's first full-frame digital...and it is the the first Canon to break the 10 million pixel boundary but it is $8,000 and that is without lenses as well! Nikon has the Nikon D1X with 5.3 megapixels which can deliver high resolution images. It is about $4,500 without lenses as well. So for me, it is about cost! I might wait it out until I can afford the Canon! It is a beautiful piece of equipment!

If you are looking for a grab and go camera Adam, the Canon Power shot Pro 90 IS is a wonderful camera. That is what I am using at the moment but the only downfall is that it takes about 3 seconds between shots! So that cuts down on the action shots! It is good for close-up shots (has a 10X zoom) but another downfall is the 2.6 megapixels so I am limited on the size of the pics that I can print out that will look presentable! But on the positive side...the colors are vibrant and it is a good camera for the money...$1,000.

LOL Chamma...... that is way out of my league....... I would not only need a personal tutor for months but also a new husband!
