Anxiety/Panic Attacks

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Does anyone suffer from these? I am almost too embarrassed to post this, but at the same time I am very annoyed. I had some weird chest banging episode last year, the night before I was supposed to leave for the round up in Tennessee. My heart started banging and I felt like I would pass out. A few minutes later it passed. I figured I was just excited and nervous about the trip, not being one to enjoy long drives. I got there fine and did okay while there. The night after I came home, they came in waves so bad I thought I was having a heart attack. My doctor advised to call 911 and we did but I did not feel bad enough to use the ambulance so we drove to the hospital-also less upsetting for the kids. Other than my blood pressure being high, neither the ERT's nor the hospital found anything wrong. The answer I got was acid reflux and an acid pill. The next day it happened again. They decided to send me home with a heart monitor which did show Vtach-speeding up, slowing down, irregular beats. I am now on a beta blocker, water pill, anxiety pill and acid reflux pill. Most of the time I feel fine, maybe sluggish from all the meds. I don't ever really feel like I am panicked, or stressed or upset. No sooner than I sit down to relax, there it goes-bang, bang, bang. It is enough to make me hop out of my chair! It is an adrenaline rush. I feel best if I stay moving but how can I never sit? LOL I am sick of the meds and want off them BADLY. I have tried cutting back and feel fine for a bit then it comes back again. I know this is a medical condition and not a mental one, but that doesn't make me feel any better. Since there is no real known cause for them, that is even worse. Anybody got any thoughts? I only have caffeine in the morning. I have cut smoking in half and would quit right now, if it didn't cause stress. Yikes. I just want to feel 'normal' again.
