Yellow tipped Leucojum

Castelnau RB Pyrenée, France(Zone 8a)

This plant was in the garden of a Cambridge College that I visited yesterday
Isn't it lovely?

Yes, if it had been for sale Mark, I wouldn't have just bought one for you lol! I'll be looking out for this for sure :)

Leucojum vernum var carpathian.

I have only seen it in other peoples gardens and they never want to part with it. Anyone grow it?

Haa, looks a bit like these http://davesgarden.com/t/222345/

Our snowdrops still aren't up. :P

do you grow these or are they cut flowers?

Absolutely gorgeous plant.

This would be an ideal accent in a design I am developing.

If someone has some or is buying, I would be glad to either trade (though my inventory is small and banal), or go in on a purchase.

LOL thanks Baa - you beat me to it!!

What a lovely plate Adam, thanks for showing it
We have the problems of your import laws to contend with I suppose. Would it be easier for you to buy direct if one of the suppliers sends to the US? Or perhaps there is a supplier in the states?

I've looked around on some US web sites and have not seen it listed. However, it's not the purchasing season for these, as I imagine they are Autumn planted.

I've never tried shipping plants or bulbs to or from the UK, but have sent both back and forth to and from Germany without any problem.

I recently got some Galanthus from my mother~in~law in Germany, which was clearly labled "plants, bulbs."

I'd be willing to join in a co-op for some

I only have the kind with the green dots. The yellow ones are adorable, too. Mine are a-blooming like crazy.
