To prune or not to prune

Lake Toxaway, NC(Zone 7a)

That is my question. I got some cuttings from tiG last year. 3 of them made it but only one bloomed a little. I have them stashed in 2 basements. Should I prune back the one that bloomed before I replant it? And what about the others? How far back should I prune it?

Unless it's absolutely necessary I would'nt prune them. They have to form a Y before they will flower so you want to let them grow to form that Y.
If you prune the one that has already flowered you will get less flowers. If you must prune this one I would leave at least 10 leaf nodes above the Y so you will have some flowers. Only trim off the dry or dead parts.

well, 2 of them did not Y yet. What should about them?

don't cut them, you will only delay their growth.

Yes, let them grow or you may be cutting off the parts that will form Y's.

OK, thanks a lot.
