LOL Gloria! Flattery will get you nowhere! I know I have only promised pollen on that one for I do listen to Monika carefully and she said Rothkirch do not like to flower if you cut it back.

Isn't it just maddening when you know you owe something to someone, and cant remember who or what??? It has happend to me and I can tell you it drove me crazy, this was when my son somehow deleted all my messages about 2 yrs ago and I could'nt reconstruct trades etc. thankfully I was able to straighten it out...(unless there is someone out there that i forgot and they never mentioned it...)

Brugie, to tell the truth, the reason it bloomed so short is that I did not root it before it started to put out its flower heads. I left it unpotted too long and not refrigerated. My error! This is called Double Ruffle from Jackson and Perkins. I buy many amaryllis every year from different vendors but the ones from the J & P catalogue are the best looking bloomers for me.
And all the rest of you..............FAT CHANCE I believe one word you say!! LOL

the thing we have to watch is the fact that all her pods are dissappearing.........we have to get them before the other pod snatcher gets there first!
then we go for the seedlings....especially the ones she has locked in the car...
then ...on to creating a windstorm so she thinks all those branches were blown off by nature......

And I just brought in the pot of germinated brugs from the car. It is getting warmer here and I was afraid of frying them. However I found that if you have some that you left too long in a plastic bag and they start to get the white mold on them......... stick them in your car, uncovered, and the mold goes bye bye!!!

Have you guys ever met Killer, my 300 lb rottweiler? Funny, he insists on sleeping in the back seat of my car every night. When he was a puppy he learned how to open the car doors going after a passerby.
