Lappeenranta, Finland(Zone 3a)

IŽd like Bananas......even seeds which would germinate.
first when I ordered seed the were too old and didn`t sprouted and second time, on seedtrade....they broke on post trip.......
and I`d want Passifloras, Aristolochias and other Caffes than Arabica..........Camelia Japonica which would live more than one week....

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Red Passion Flowers and a pink red double brug.

Hibiscus,
I have a red passion vine...do you want me to start you one off of it?

My tropical wants are simple. I need a warmer climate. I'm SO over this nasty cold weather. By the way, three of the brug seeds you sent sprouted. Thanks

1 a green jade vine that you do not have to mortgage the house for

2 Mandela's Gold BOP

3 Ae Ae banana pup

4 a yellow clivia

5 nice sized macaw palm

Helsinki, Finland(Zone 4b)

Mitjo, did you lose your Camellia?

I can't decide, there are so many nice tropical plants... maybe cocoa tree, african tulip tree, colocasia, bananas and some vines?

Woodburn, OR(Zone 8a)

Ah tropical weather would be great! I would love to be able to walk out into the yard and pick oranges, avocados, mangos etc from the trees!!

Bay City, MI(Zone 6a)

NONE
Im tired of tropicals and trying to keep them alive here in the winter!! :(

Panhandle, FL(Zone 8a)

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

everything I see.......

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Thank you Glory. S. is sending me hers, if she can keep it going until spring, I ordered a Coccinea from Logees'. Yours looks like it is probably Vitifolia(by leaves). I may need it, so don't throw any cuttings away.

weeds, I will bring you a BOP to FL swap .... Do you want the big white or orange? Also have allot of Florida natives just ask and I might have it! :)

Panhandle, FL(Zone 8a)

WOw, that would be great. I think the orange would be nice. My problem here is we have cold winters so most tropicals won't live. Doesn't make me want them any less! Now, what are you looking for?

Lappeenranta, Finland(Zone 3a)

Evert.....yes, I said bye bye to my Camelia......it didn`t like me.......two days it lived normally, but it didn`t flowering, even it had flowerpods, then it started to lose leaves.......and then there was only one leaf left....then the stick started to die......and I took cutting of the health part......and then the cutting started to die.....

Lappeenranta, Finland(Zone 3a)

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Mitjo,Evert, what ever you get, take the buds(flowers)off.it is better for the plant.takes the stress of producing the flower off.Maybe some will argue here.JMHO!

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8a)

I would enjoy having a Dicksonia fern for over my indoor pond. I remember seeing these monstrous plants in Cornwall, UK..........so unique! some of us have ordered Thunbergia Grandiflora"Blue Skies"......this is another I have tried to track down and finally found a source in Canada! So it's really worth it, hanging in there! Elaine

Lappeenranta, Finland(Zone 3a)

Thanks for the tip rootdoctor!
but I knew that Camelia will die......so...I just wanted to see flowers...

Hamilton, Canada

I just want the tropical plants that I'm currently growing to survive!!!

Passiflora vines would be high on my list though for more wants and one Aye Aye banana. Dare I say MORE BRUGMANSIA? I would have to get a back hoe and rip up all the remaining grass in front, put in raised beds, relandscape with rock walls, wrought iron fencing and trellis covered with vines, sit back and enjoy the summers like I like in the tropics...hehehe.

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

Thank you all for partcipating. I find it very interesting to see what others are interested in. Alot of these plants that you listed, I have never seen before. It gives me some interesting research to do.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I'd have to agree with John and joydie. I want an Ae Ae banana pup too, but that will never be. and I dearly want everything here to just survive a few more weeks.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

gee, wonder if we could get a good price on a Ae Ae nana co-op
We could get a lot of people wanting it..........

I'd give 50 bucks maybe 70.........or 2 for 100.......

Not to get you going again Tig.......LOL

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I'd learn how to tissue culture if I got one!!!

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

I have orange clivia, Brugmania, if he turns out yellow he's yours !! I detest yellow. Yes I know orange is common but so am I. I thought I could name 5 trops easily as faves--but it turns out after reading all of you it is a lot tougher than I imagined. You don't really ahve to hang in to find what you want--you just have to know Roselaine.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Somebody whip me up a link on this Banana,I don't think I have seen it,what is so hot about it?Rare?

Hamilton, Canada

rootdoctor it has fabulous green and white striped foliage, BUT the plants are in high demand and cost about $100...ouch my wallet! Probably the most stunning banana plant ever seen!

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

I'll go surfing!

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Hamilton, Canada

CC that's just what I was thinking...lol...in that case I better order a stuttgard canna and pretend...lol.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I'm interested in any plants that will help give my lawn a tropical look. Have so many now that I'd have to do some searching to find something that would fit in. It is getting a bit crowded around here with brugs, nanas, ears, thunbergias, justicias, and the list goes on. Many things I've received because of the great co-ops here at Daves.

hickory, NC(Zone 7a)

i want brugs and gingers !!!!!! and a palm tree hardy in my area
moretz
