A nice spring storm moved thu our area for an hour or 2 last night. Some hail but it didn't last long. No damage done that we have heard of. Only small hail anyway. The rain guage has about 3/4" in it.
I got a lot of yard cleaning done yesterday afternoon. The burning pile has grown a lot. When it drys again there will be a fire built and then the ashes & unburned material will have to be cleaned up. One mess seems to lead to another around here.
We're going to go to town this morning. Jack's new foam bed pad is here and I need to get it and some plastic to wrao it in. His new Bible is here too so we'll pick it up. His eyes are getting so bad that he can't read regular or large print any more. This one is extra large print and he can read it with his reading glasses(WalMart $12.99). Don't know what else we'll find to do. Maybe a trip to Aldi's for fresh fruits and veggies and maybe shredded cheeses..
