Hello Dinu, The plant in your photo is not Agave americana or any of the varigated types related..... The plant in the picture is Furcraea foetida var. medio picta.

It is a very nice example of a furcraea but it is not an agave.. The photo I supplied is a sample of an Agave americana var. marginata

Yes Dinu, Passiongreen is right this not an agave. This is Furcraea foetida .

Kaleem is correct.. not even an Agave (correct family, though).

This plant gets very big spreading to about 10 feet or more and the bloom can go high on a cream coloured stalk up to 15 feet.
