Check out my new mini-greenhouse, LOL

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

These seem to work well! I planted 4 to each glass.

Is it true you should open seedlings to the air as soon as they sprout?

Love your little greenhouses. What are they?

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Mc Donalds Yogart!!!
I love them!

Kell, once they're sprouted, open the top and don't overwater them.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

I eat them for lunch all the time......they are really good!

And I better start eating them faster now........... LOL. I was tossing them out for over a year.........stupid me!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Yes Kell and you could do a mini greenhouse co-op. Great idea Eyes!!

High Desert, CA(Zone 8a)

now that is what i call being innovative Kell. if u drink coffee, the clear plastic container with6 a dome cover will also work. are these seeds sprouting in ur brug mobile too LOL!

Kell,
You are so smart.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Yes, Kell you are brilliant!!! Great idea.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL Ma Vie.....no but actually 7 more seedlings are up in my brugmobile today in a 6 pack with a plastic bag over it! I just noticed today! And 2 of the seedlings have white fuzz on them, so I am going to spray them with hydrogen pyroxide when I get them home tonight. What do you think?

I went to McDonalds today for my salad lunch and the girl said they are changing the packaging to a box on their salads Friday. So I asked if they have any of the glass shaped containers left and she gave me 2 whole sleeves of them. I like them because you can leave them in there with top off for longer than you can a 6 pack cell.
So if you like them, this is the time to ask for them free!!!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Kell, I'm interested, please!! Just a few would be great. Let me know and I'll get some postage off to you. I might not use them this year, but they would be great in the winter when it is so dry in the house. Thanks a bunch!!

S.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I will put them in with the box of things I have for you Brugie....... LOL. I bet you thought I had forgotten.....not likely the plants are all sitting by my door with a note on them. SEND US TO BRUGIE NOW!!!

everyone else....go ask at your Mcdonalds before Friday when the new one starts!

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Kell what a great idea! I just know that's a double pink brug in that cup. :) Kell don't open it up all at once just a little at at time. (ok sneaking back out of the brug forum)

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Kell, thank you girl. You know I don't have access to McD's, other than you. LOL. I'm forward.......see how I asked you for some of yours? Now, what can I send to you? If you can wait a bit for them to get a little bigger, I'll send you some special brugs.......K? Anything else I have, you know I'll share.

FSH, TX

And just what are these mystery seeds? Do you know the parents of at least one of them or are they from unknown parents or simply unnamed parents?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Well Brugmanisa........... let just say this.........they are from the snob, upper class of brugmansias.............NO MORE FROSTIES FOR ME!!! LOL LOL LOL I am going to be DARK PINK!!!!

Hi Peggy.....love seeing you here, don't rush back to the PDB!!! Stay and play with us a while!

Hey you brug guys......really......are we not all tooooooooooooo excited for this summer??? I can't wait to see what gets grown here. I can't believe what excitement and joy brug seeds have given to me already, not knowing what they will be! Even if they turn out to be Frosties, I will still have had the absolute best time germinating them on up to seeing them flower in total pink anticipation.

Ingenious! I'm going to ask my McD's if they have any left over, too! Did you just use regular seed starting mixture for these?
