KathyJo, I know we were within a mile or less of you last night, but it had gotten dark and I didn't have the directions with me. We did get a tour of 124 in the dark. Don't believe we want to repeat that experience! Jack finally got out of VA about 5. We had stopped by the eye clinic desk to tell the clerk to let the doctor know Jack has decided to go ahead with the cataract removal. A doctor who saw him last summer was standing there so he just took over. Sent Jack right over to the Mason Eye Clinic across the street for a test to see if there are enough of some kind of cells behind the cornea to let the removal be done without having to have a corneal transplant as well. Then back to VA to finish some blood drawing for tests that we didn't know hadn't been done for months. Finally got out of there and ate at Wendy's. I'm sure we'll be back to VA in a week or so tho from what the docs said yesterday. KathyJo, please email me. The address I have for you comes back as undelverable..
It's suppose to get up to 65 today. I hope so. We have a small hog to buther today. The man who farms our land gave it to us. It has a bad leg, only weighs about 65-75 pounds and would not have brought anything at the auction so they gave it to us. It is in the bird house now. Unfortunately the birds have abandoned the house while it is in there. Only the peafowl would go in last night. So I left the door open and Shad overrode the automatic timer on the light to leave it on all night. We lost some baby pigeons and lots of incubating eggs because the pigeon hens abandoned them all. I never dreamed they would react so strongly. All the poor hog did was go in and lay down. There he still lay last night when we got home. I would like to hear what those poor birds are thinking.
I'm learning about shopping on ebay. We're trying to get a biker trainer for Shad. I am also watching and hoping to buy some Foxfire books for us.
