I raised pigeons for awhile, Fanny was one of the tamer ones, when she got out of the pigeon house, she would automatically go to the chicken house for some reason, she liked it there? I never had them "locked up" they had free run of the place, the doors were usually open on the chicken house as well, she would go there, maybe she ate the smaller pieces of food that the chickens didn't get? who knows.
