Those are so ugly, they're cute! I had no idea what the plant looked like or that they grew so slowly.

Like many other globular cacti, they have a very strong contractive taproot that pulls them into the soil. Therefore, most growers here use those tall Cymbidium pots.

I hope you live in area that is very tolerant John-Law wise as it is illegal to own or grow peyote unless you are of the American Indian Church and a full fledged card-carrying Native-American
