Dinu, i bought a neem tree plant from rareseeds.com last year. it is in full sun but does not look too good. i kept it indoor during the winter month. what am i doing wrong? how do u care for the one u got. am afraid, i might lose this one i have at present.

I neither have that neem nor I have grown it in my premises. It is growing just outside my premises in the neighbour's. All the leaves of it fall into my backyard. It is a tree which seems to have been there for about 20 years or so. After the rains, I see many seedlings sprouting from the seeds dropped by the birds. I will try to salvage some seeds for you as well.

It seems to grow without much care here and so I do not have much to suggest. I think it requires a warm climate.

I am also looking for Neem. Would you please check my trade page at GardenWeb to see if there's anything you'd like? http://members.gardenweb.com/members/exch/cajun2

Thank you!

I will go and try to gather the seeds which seem to have fallen in plenty now. Will come back again.

Seeds are available now and I have collected them for you all. Do let me know.

Hi Dinu

I know these pictures were posted a long time ago but I was wondering do you still have your tree? Do you have seeds? I would really like to try and grow this over here in the UK but indoors of course.
Hope you can help me.

Monica.

Hi Monica
The tree is still here, doing well. But it actually belongs to the neighbour. The leaves mostly fall in my yard and so are fruits. So it should not be a problem for me to collect a few that falls directly from overhanging branches. But the only thing I request is I need to be reminded. I don't know if fruits are formed now. It usually flowers during March and subsequently goes to fruit in my guess. March, I remember is because its flowers and ends of branches are used for our festival - The Lunar New Year (called Ugadi). So sometime during April if you can remind me it'd help me. Send me a D-mail so that it shows up in my list.

Regards.
Dinu
