White Iris - I've started digging
i would love some what you looking for.
Hi Cathy, I too would love some white iris in my garden. Are you willing to take postage? And like "jcf" I'm wondering what type plants or seed you're looking for.
I don't want to bring up hurtful matters (and feel free not to talk about Chelsea) but what type illness did Chelsea have? I know when we lost "Muggs" to cancer I couldn't mention his name for 3 months.
Hope to be hearing from you - - - - - Teisha
Chelsea had cancer. She had complications and infection. She wasn't healing very fast after surgery. Cancer is tough. I'm just glad she had some good days with us. I got her from someone who couldn't keep her anymore, with the intent of finding a home for her. We actually had a home for her, until I found the tumors. I'm gld I had her for the short time I did. She was very sweet. She deserved her last days to be better than what she had with her previous owner.
Guess if I'm going to trade I need to think about what I'd like, more than I have anyway.
It was suggested I make a list. I could also look at your list. Too tired now. I'll work on it this week-end. I've got a bug and shouldn't be up so late anyway. I've been goofing off hoping catch a late night veggie game from zz's seed trade. And, I did!
My want list there was early heirloom tomato seed.
BTW, what's you've got mail lingo?
nite for now
Cathy
Sorry to hear you are sick Cathy. Hope you feel better soon. There is so much junk going around! ICK! Where is summer?? :)
definitely would love to have some also...jlmk what you are looking for...
thanks,
cristina
Would like some here, too. Just let us all know what you would like. Thanks! :O)
badseed thanks for the sympathy, junk is right! So, how come im considering trade stuff instead of asleep. ............no sense
I wasn't thinking about what I wanted in trade. I'll need to do that and get back here over the weekend. Sorry, can i blame it on the junk in my head?
LOL! Junk in your head is definately a good reason to not be able to think straight! Grab some catalogues or nice garden magazines and your wish list will grow right before your eyes!
What color are the peonies? I need a color other than white. Let me know and we might be able to trade.

Head may be thick but hands can still shake apart iris from dirt. I just finished counting 216. And, a bunch of little ones!
Better get working on my list.
Actually, if you have crocus, daffies, other iris, dahlias, or any other (good for cutting) hardy perenial make an offer. I like bright colors as well as paler yellows and blues. I love contrast!
peonies got mixed up, and may not be in the greatest shape. There are white with red specks, pinks and all white.
I would love to trade for some of your iris, or buy some from you. Right now the ground here has bout a foot of snow so I don't have much to trade yet.
i do have lotsa daffodils, tulips, and crocus that I can trade,
I apologize if I haven't gotten back to you all. I've made one trade but am beginning to get confused. If you want white iris and you haven't heard from me would you please e-mail me and I'll keep track that way. Do others of you get confused with postings here and e-mails and who offers what etc?
Thanks, Cathy
Re: peonies, same as above please. OK?
I like to print them out OR set up a seperate folder in my email if I am only offering one thing at that time. It helps to keep it all seperate. If you print them out you can write on them. :)
notmartha, rik, teisha and jcf, you've got mail.
Tropical nut, Silly lily and babsadventure, I'm working on it.
Iris trades are closed for now till I figure out how many more I have, and what I want for trade. ;)
Thanks for all your interest!
kokopelli
ok, i'll be waiting... :-)
thanks and have a nice day!!!
cristina
tropicalnut, silly and babs, you've got mail.
Hey, did you get a gift from the plant fairy today?
Your generosity is something else!!!
thanks so much for ALL the Iris!!
yahooooooooooy!
hey, babs
the plant fairy was awesome. I can't wait to get these in the ground. From your note I'm hoping I can set these aside for a bit more. I'm leaving tomorrow (4am) to Grand Canyon. I've put the bulbs in some more dry paper shreddings. I have a cool room in the back of the house that I've put them. I think they should be fine. What a beautiful garden I'm going to have for years to come!!! I'll let you know when to look for a box coming your way. You will be pleased too, I hope!
koko
not!
you are too kind. (blush)
Sounds like you did a lot of work today!
happy planting
kokopelli
JCF,
I'd still like you to consider sharing your heirloom tomatoes! I've made a few deals for postage, to new gardeners or others just starting gardens. I'd really like to try the Russian and the one you said was your very favorite. LMK if your still interested.
Can't answer anymore til next Saturday, off to the Grand Canyon.
BTW Who got the picture I sent of my peony divisions. First time dividing and I was hoping for an opinion on if they still looked viable. A little help please?
Bye
koko
