Hello folks,
Mary, those are great pictures. Wish our barn had those kinds of pens. We just have double stalls that they used to milk cows in.
EvaMae, where do you get your strawberry tea? It sounds so good!! Do you make your own teas? My mother used to make teas out of dandelions, rose hips, linden tree blooms, stinging nettle, clover blossoms, etc. The stinging nettle tea would cure anything, but sure didn't taste very good. I had to have lots of honey in mine.
Lisa, did you get my e-mail on Sunday? Some day I hope to talk DH into traveling south. Those swamps sure look cool.
Nice day today. It should get up in the 40's today. We had 6-8 inches of snow on Tuesday morning. School was delayed by a couple of hours, but by 11:00, the sun was out. Good thing we didn't have any wind, otherwise it would have been blizzard conditions as the snow was light and fluffy. We woke up and looked out the window and all we could see of the Canadian geese was their heads and necks sticking out from under the snow. LOL They looked pretty funny, but I'm sure they were toasty warm. Once they pull up their feet under their feathers, they can usually tolerate anything. We had them shut in the barn one winter and they were always looking for a way out, so now we just leave them.
Wingnut, Butterbean sure looks healthy. Glad Kenny is feeling better.
Jewel, how do you like your job? I'm sure the newpaper business is interesting.
Gotta run. Getting my broom ready to sweep the snow off the kids again.
