Im searching hard for cannas that bloom white flowers for my moms grave sight, please help! i have a few red canna i can trade for them or i can buy them,or pay postage, thanks

Sorry no pure white canna's. Now there is a Canna called "Journey's End". It has a cream background with spots and splashes of coral-pink on medium -sized petals. The foliage is shiny greenand height is 3 feet. Another name for this is "Fay's Orchid." Journey's End will be the closest thing to a white....at least for now until they come up with a white one. Would be nice if they do...would love to have one...also a blue colored one...put for now will have to make do with what is available.
well if there was a place here id show you guys a white canna pic,but since i dont know of one ill just have to keep looking, :-) thanks for your concern though.

You are talking about a Canna and NOT a Calla Right? I do not doubt you because I have no earthly idea of there is a white canna. I just know, for the longest, I had a heck of a time keeping the two straight......

I've seen her white canna and it is the cream one with the coral splotches.Its not large enough for her to divide yet.She bought it from somebody who brought it back from Mexico
dont give up.. there is a white canna. it grows wild in the philipeens. i dont have it but do have a connection from there and looking to get some of it in ..only problem is hon its not zone hardy to most of the u.s. what state are you in. ? perhaps its something you can put out and take in.

On the plus side, it looks like Texas is one of the few states where retailers carry this item. I note that the description states the flowers opens pale yellow and ages to white; perhaps there is a better near-white cultivar for the money? John
I got a 2 gallon from an eagle store this summer. I just took it out of the dirt and I had 2 bulbs. I will send you one.. e-mail me.. I think its what you want, here in IL you have to dig it out every fall and replant in spring.. I have lots of red.. Either calla or canna, I get them mixedup.. Letme know.. bon
