Dang Karen, you have a little bit of the tropics at your house. They really look good. Love your pictures. Bet you are loving that new greenhouse right now.

Hamilton, Canada

Oh CC kinda lookin purdy there. I wish I could smell the scent from up here. Nuttin bloomin here yet.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Most of it is in the GH......

I know I didn't have all these blooms last year with them all in my livingroom......LOL

CC, Your cup of Gold (solandra) is going crazy!

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

is that what it is?
I thought it was Chalice vine.......

both names are used;) Now if anything looks like a hat that one is the best!

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

Your beatiful blooms warms our hearts!!

Thanks so much for sharing and getting us through this longggg ccccold winter!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

WOW! That GH was worth every penny. Beautiful blooms for this time of year, wish they were here. Thanks for sharing!

CC,
I have a Variegated Solandra Maxima if you would like me to root you a couple of cuttings. LMK

Helsinki, Finland(Zone 4b)

Are the Abutilon seeds you sent me from the pink one? :)

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Evert, the ones I sent you are from Calla, mine have never set seeds, that I know of.....

And Glory,yes please!

Your right about the GH being worth every penny....except its too small
I have no place to put new seedlings...LOL

and where will I put my co-op plants.....

CC,
I took the cutting today so it should be ready for shipment in a month or so....I'll keep you up dated.

Lappeenranta, Finland(Zone 3a)

nice flowers..........spring/summer should come.....I want flowers in here too:)

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Glory,I have never had much luck rooting it...I airlayred one last year but aside from that nothing......
How do you do it?

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

CC or Glory . . if you ever get another off of your Chalice vine can I get in line, mine did not make it. It was doing great and then I started loosing it. It is just a twig now.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

I was told once that I shouldn't panic if it lost all its leaves over the winter, that it was normal, last year mine lost alot of leaves but not all of them, this year its in the GH and it didn't loose any....so maybe all is not lost.I do have 2 small babies already rooted, but mine is the green ,not the variegated. If you want one let me know....I'll send it when it gets warm

CC,
I just start mine like I do the Brugs....in my sand box.

Debbie,
I'll get you one started today....still can't spell.

Thanks CC and Glory . . will find something for you both to trade with.

CC and Waterloo Lily,
Just wanted to let y'all know your cuttings have started putting on small roots and hopefully I can send them out to you and a month or so....doesn't take long to root them in sand.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

YEAH!!!!!

Thanks !!!!

CC,
You are so "Welcome." BTW..the flowers on the Easter Cactus have opened up all the way and they are so pretty. I received another one from Hummer_Nut yesterday at the swap let's hope it is a different color...if so I'll send you some after it blooms next year.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Whoo hooooo !!! Thank you Glory, a little slow getting out but your Hawaiian Woodrose will be in tomorrow's mail.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

WOW.....how big are those flowers on your Your Cup of Gold I just love it. Can you post a pic of yours Glory also. I have not seen this one in person before.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

kell,they're huge,bigger than a softball

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

well that does it.....I will have to get one! LOL. can you keep them small? the vine itself that is.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Mines only 2 1/2 -3 foot tall,I know they can become invasive in tropical climates.....mine came from California.........

Kell,
I just trimmed mine so it's not much to look at. I do have a picture of one in San Diego and they do get big if the weather is right.

I can't find the San Diego pictures on the computer....no idea what Ron did with them and he's not here right now.

Kell,
I finally found the picture....it's not to clear but it will give you an idea how big this vine can get in the right area.
