Wim, did you know that they bloom? They have cream colored plumes. I don't know much about them, they did good in my tropical beds and seem to be able to survive long dry periods in the winter when I would forget to water them.

I did know that they can bloom but I've never seen it.
They say that the bloom is not beuatifull and very little.

Where do you live, that you can hold your plant outside in the winter? I live in the Netherlands and I can only hold the plant outside from may - september. Then I have to put it indoor because it's too cold for it.

I didn't leave them outside, I have a greenhouse. I will soon be moving to zone 10 though and they can live outside there all winter.

That's great. I hope to get a greenhouse also next year, so I can grow much more plants. But it's even better when you can grow plants outside in winter and summer.
Do you have only the Iresine aacuminata or do you have more variety's of Iresine?
