New critter in the house.

Our 10 year old granddaughter had gotten really slack about taking care of her grown cavy(guinea pig)so her mommy said it had to go. Like a soft hearted dumb old grandmother I said we would take it. Hubby is NOT happy but is being very nice about it. We use to have several cavies for our children and at one time bred them commercially for lab use. Had over 200 for a while. We also showed some of them. When we got out of the business we kept 22 of them. But it has been years since we had one. This one is a broken color(charcoal/white)female named Princess. I guess she is about 1 1/2 years old but not sure. She doesn't whistle or chortle at all and is so ticklish you can hardly touch her without her jumping all over the place in her box.
