Spay Christmas update

Maddie did get spayed last month..that's the good news. The kids have never really kept her under control and home. She shows up at my place almost every day,which is why DS's dog Maya is still living here. My greyhound,Caeser,was Maya's daddy and I would hate to see something happen to her. Friday a neighbor called to say an injured dog was in their yard and did I know the owner. It was Maddie. :-(( Kids took her to the vet where she spent the night. She's home now,but can't get up and has trouble eating. Vet thinks neuro damage. If there is no improvement in a couple days he wants her back for x-rays. It just breaks my heart. Should poor,sweet Maddie go to Rainbow Bridge and my DS ask for Maya back he'll get a big fat NO. Not until he fences so she'll be safe and even then I'll have to think long and hard about it.
