Hello everyone. I've been easedropping all winter. Many times people ask questions that I have wanted an answer for myself. I look forward to learning from fellow gardners. My garden style is natural and wild. I have enjoyed the wildlife that come to visit my yard. The fact that I am on the edge of a woods helps. The most recent visitor was a coyote passing through the backyard early in the morning. Thank goodness I don't have a cat. The long list of critters include turkey, hawks, racoons, fox, skunk, opposums, barn owl and a baby fawn born among the hostas. Lots of birds. My goal is to provide as much natural food as possible in the way of plantings.

Welcome, trillium_girl! Trilliums (trillia?) are some of my favorite flowers. Your habitat sounds great! My parents fed all manner of animals in their yard, even some considered to be natural enemies, yet it was a "peaceable kingdom" -- everyone seemed to call a truce while they were eating together in that yard. There were raccoons, 'possums, birds, squirrels, even a fox or two.
So glad to meet you, and have a wonderful time in this beautiful garden!
A big Welcome from Ky. You will love it here.
