Jewel, so sorry to hear about the loss of your calf. Yall tried so hard to save her. You sure had a busy week didn't you! Congrats to your DD on her accomplishments!

Karla, so good to hear from you! Moving to TN? Hmmm..yall should check out Dave & Trishs place, it is in an awesome spot!

I am anxiously awaiting the birth of my baby goats. It will be any day now. I fixed up a "labor room" yesterday. I have all my supplies lined up and ready. I am now sleeping with a baby moniter in their stalls and the hearing end next to my pillow. Needless to say, I am not getting much sleep. Those goats groan all night long..lol. I am so worried that they will have trouble having those babies and I'll not be around to help.

My potatoes that I planted a couple of weeks ago are sprouting out of the ground. Also the radish seeds are all germinated! By the end of the week I am going to plant some tomatoes. I am hoping to offer organic veggies at the market this year. It will hard to go organic here, we have chemical warfare with all the bugs and fungus' due to so much rain. This will be interesting. I can see me slipping out back in the night, undercover, spraying my veggies..haaha!

Our town has been taken over by RV's. It is mardi gras here and I don't like it..makes it hard for a person to travel anywhere on the road. I think I'll just stay home until wed. after all this stuff is over. I wish I could leave town.

Yall have a good day, I think we might finally see the sunshine today.
