Looking out of the living room window, I wished it would look again like on this picture. I am hiding in the trees LOL!
Memories
Oh my gosh!! Oh my gosh!! I just can't say much more. Absolutely the most beautiful picture there could possibly be. I can only imagine what it must be like to see it in person.
lol Monika, now I'll be looking out my window wishing I was in your house looking out to your alley....
Never fear, spring will be here soon, just a matter of time.
Your alley is to die for bye the way :)
Absolutely beautiful is the only description I can think of to describe this picture. We need spring BAD!!!!!
beautiful, beautiful! i've been planting brugs this morning, so nice to have some 4-8 feet tall to put in the ground instead of waiting for them to grow back from being frozen.
arlene, you just killed us all. whaaaaaa... I have been potting up cuttings that rooted, but it's not the same. I want outside. it's cool and rainy here. But thank you Lord for no snow.
Can you imagine getting married at Monika's house an walking up this walkway! Do you think my driveway will ever look like this........LOL. I have got to get my DH's lawn away from him! And then I have to get some of Monika's brugs away from her!
Bringing this up for Sherry. I think this is an amazing picture.
It would be perfect for a wedding...
dreaming as my daughter is to marry next month :)
This is such a beautiful picture. What I'd give to see this in person.
Tanks, Shirley!!! This is an absolutely beautiful photo, Monika, WOWIE!!! Living in zone 5a, I assume you have to pot all brugs you carry over each winter, that's a question. Bless your heart, obviously a labor or love, I'm most impressed and sincerely appreciate your dedication. Thanks for being there: to Monika and all of you!! Happy Weekend All!! I hope your Sat is great and your Sun will be even better!!!! SherryLikeTheWine
Breathtaking ... love this photo!
Thank you all! It is much work to plant them in the spring just to dig them up again in the fall for overwintering. The time between those dates is short but see them flowering is a big reward for the work.
Monika, did you find the Garden of Eden?
It is my garden of Eden minniegrannie, especially on warm summer nights, when the garden is full of fragrance.
I can certainly believe that. It is so beautiful. In fact, all of your pictures of your yard are beautiful.
oh Monika, then you best be wary of snakes!
LOL kell!
Kell, I your poem was fun!! Are you a poet and didn't know it, or are you always so entertaining? SherryLike
I think some with no taste may find me strange more than entertaining SherryLike! LOL
Sherry, she is always entertaining as well as helpful. What would we do without her humor and her pictures? Don't ever change Kell.
See, Brugie has excellent taste in friends! LOL
Let me ask a question - this am, I found a brug bud on the ground, it's about 6 inches long & it might have had one bug bite near the end, one perfect bite, or something. Could it have been the wind?? I'm concerned that this might mean that all the buds will drop. Is there anything I can do to prevent that?? I have three or four that are almost open and, if we get sun, today might be the day. TIA!!!

Sherry, it happens here too. I think the wind may have something to do with it at times and other times, it is just mother nature doing her thing for some reason. I don't worry about a bud drop until they all start dropping like Herrenhauser Garten does and then I become baffled. As long as you keep the bug population down so that they aren't the cause of it or letting the plants become too dry, you should have much trouble. Brugs generally don't drop everything. At least they haven't for me yet, other than HG.
