B. versicolor 'Kaskade'

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

This beautiful genuine wild species is a parent of many beautiful hybrids. In the past two years, I used Apricot Queen for a try.

Monika have you tried this with EP??

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

No. Since both species are sensitive and do not thrive very well in my climate, I am afraid, the hybrids will be the same. Alicia is the only one out of a similar cross, sensitiv to sensitiv. The rest went onto the compost pile. Too sensitiv for here.

My Kaskade has small buds and soon I will receive E P Pollen. I will try to cross them.I am the lowlander, versis are growing here well.

sensitive how? To the cold? I'd really love to get my hands on this one. The picture in your book is fabulous.

Yes Poppy, to the cold. Versis are from the lower lands from Ecuador, they need it warm.

I spose that leaves me out then... LOL!
