What is the parentage Monika. Is it one of yours? It's very pretty. Still hoping to get or make a double pink one day soon.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

They are not my hybrids but I know the parentage, Jeanne.
Even without knowing it you can see the influence of all three species.

Co.Wicklow, Ireland(Zone 8b)

Who is the Hybridiser?

Hamilton, Canada

I'm just guessing, but I think one of the parents is Tiara...just a wild guess, but the flower looks very much like Tiara, have no idea which pick was crossed with it though.

Coal Center, PA(Zone 6a)

I'll take these ..either one. Both is better!
Just lovely, Ludger (o:

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Awesome plants Ludgar.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Do you have also single flowers on these two Ludger or is it only Super Rose, which produces 50/50?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I wish my eyes could see what Monika's do when she looks at a bloom! well maybe in another 20 years of trying...........

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Monika as I know they have mostly double flowers but both are not heavy bloomers, only some from time to time.
It didnt bloom here, I took the pictures at Dorotheas`s.

The mother of this hybrids is Charlston and they are from Frau Langenberg ( Germany )

AND: Sometimes Monika and me are going different ways in telling a hybrid...lol

The origin of this brugs is a candidahybrid.I will discuss this with Monika with a call, itīs better to do in german language...

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

The mother is a x candida - hybrid, here I agree with you but the pollinator is not a pure aurea. It is strongly influenced by suaveolens with only very few versicolor genes. These doubles are therefore no x candidas, even in second or third generation!
The classification x candida can be kept only if you hybridize within this group.

Adding flore plena doesnt mean automatic that it has to be a x candida. All it says that it is a double flowering angels trumpet.

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

Doubly beautiful!!
