Hello from COLD Pennsylvania

Palmyra, PA(Zone 6a)

Hi! Here in Pennsylvania we are being bombarded this winter by cold and snow -much more severe than last year. SO, I am extra antsy to get started gardening and feel that warm soil between my fingers! :) Anyone else feeling that way? I am so happy to find this site and look forward to getting to know other "gardeners".

Hi, Allie88! Welcome to DG. I know your weather has been AWFUL lately and I join you in wishing for spring -- in the meantime, this garden is filled with wonderful cyberflowers and plants to tide us over!

Waving from a cold and snowy South West KY,where I'm usually contemplating mowing the lawn by now.Guess we're all in the same boat. Welcome to the garden! It's warm here!

Hi Allie,

Waving and saying welcome from the far West Coast of Calif.
We don't get your extreme cold weather out here, but right now we are getting our share of rain (really needed) and can't work out in the gardens either.

Welcome Allie! You'll love this place. So much information and from such nice gardening friends. Just the place to get us all through the winter blahs!

Hi Allie88. You'll love DG. I do, and I've only been here a short time myself. We haven't seen bare ground since Valentines Day--a really unusual phenomenon for SE Ohio winter weather! We're walkin on top of snow and ice a foot above ground level still. It's awful. But like you said, there'll be warm dirt to play in soon. :-) Look forward to seeing you 'round this garden!

Welcome Allie88. It may be cold outside but there is a fuzzy warm welcome here at Dave's Garden. Greetings from New York City (Bronx) where we plant gardens between slabs of concrete. There are no strangers here at DG, only friends you haven't met yet. I look forward to meeting you in the forums. Welcome.
