Hi! Here in Pennsylvania we are being bombarded this winter by cold and snow -much more severe than last year. SO, I am extra antsy to get started gardening and feel that warm soil between my fingers! :) Anyone else feeling that way? I am so happy to find this site and look forward to getting to know other "gardeners".

We don't get your extreme cold weather out here, but right now we are getting our share of rain (really needed) and can't work out in the gardens either.

Hi Allie88. You'll love DG. I do, and I've only been here a short time myself. We haven't seen bare ground since Valentines Day--a really unusual phenomenon for SE Ohio winter weather! We're walkin on top of snow and ice a foot above ground level still. It's awful. But like you said, there'll be warm dirt to play in soon. :-) Look forward to seeing you 'round this garden!

Welcome Allie88. It may be cold outside but there is a fuzzy warm welcome here at Dave's Garden. Greetings from New York City (Bronx) where we plant gardens between slabs of concrete.
