New here - have question & request :)

Dundee, OH(Zone 5b)

Hello from OH, I am new here but wanted to ask a couple questions.
I have a nice sized pond, dug it myself, so all the more I want to keep it up nicely!!!
I am looking to try to find some seed or starts, not sure what you would call them for some waterlily or lotus.
And how would I go about starting some? This is all new to me. So if you can answer those questions I would be grateful.
Does anyone have any they would share for sase?
Sorry I don't have anything to offer in trade, but I would be willing to pay for postage if that would help.
Thanks so much, I love this site@!!!

OhioBreezy: Badseed is putting together a co-op for lotus. Look for it here on the water gardens forum. It's way at the top of the forum right now.

Hey Folks-I put in a fish pond last summer and been plagued by a brown "flocky" stuff--I can't get rid of it and I change my filter on a regular basis-it makes the water turbid and brown--do I need to add plants or what? I know the bacteria curve needs to kick in--any help?? Thanks Rebecca
