This is versicolor alba a very long flower..up to 24 inches long.I got this cultivar in Calif. and spread it around before they could remove or lose theirs! :-)
Versicolor alba
That is a very dignified looking flower!
Is it as fragrant as the Versicolor Yellow only a little more on the 'spicy' side?
Amazing!I love the long blooms!!!!!
Great looking plant and I love the red hibiscus peeking out from under it. Nice contrast.
RA49 it has more of a heavy sweet smell..sometimes almost a musky scent.
That is one beautiful photo. Stunning!
Thank you .
Very pretty, Kyle (o:
I love the long blooms, too.
This one has evaded me.
Each time I get V Alba ..it is not. LOL
Really Brugie....the red with the white are stunning together.
So I you (once again) to thank for this one? I got mine from Eric. It's a pure versicolor?
I really like it! Kyle, for a really long thin flower, is there a versicolor you could recomend?
Thanks,
Bruno
Hmmmmm..........Eclipse......if you ever have cuttings for postage, remember me, please! Very pretty flowers, they look so regal.
Kyle, if ever you have a spare cutting ..I would like.
Then I might finally really have V Alba correct ..lol.
I will reimburse, trade .. or whatever you wish for it.
Thanks (o:
Just lovely! Thanks for the winter pick me up....
I hope mine looks this good this year, Alice I have you one!
Alice, let me know if you don't get one..I'll have to start more. My last two plants are small(3 ft) but will put them in the ground this year. The tree in the pic was destroyed by accident at work in the fall.Glad I had backup at home.
Bruno Ver alba has by far the longest and thinnest flowers of all the versicolors. :-)
Beautiful plant Kyle.I bought my first Alba last July. It is a small plant with white and yellow trumpets.I only hope that it will be like yours someday.
Plantsforever

That is one of my favorite brug pictures. They go together so well.
Cool picture Root.
Thanks Shirley, reminds me of summer.
Woe...those Castor oil plants are Massive!!! Mine only grew to about 4ft tall! I've had some flower at 1ft tall LOL
Lol, thank you! I got it..Wallpaper and Castor.
The Castors look great.
Absolutely stunning plant.
This is a pic of the Castor Bean 'Zanzibariensis' I grew last year. We have a 2 story house and it almost reached the eaves on the second story.
The result gave me an idea for planting some of my Brugs this year. I will use the Castor Beans to give shade from the hot noonday sun by planting them on the south side of some Brugs in a sunny location. The foliage on the Castors is open enough to still allow dappled shade and this will allow me to plant in locations I could not use before. :)
Unfortunately, this one got touched by frost the day I took this pic.
