That is a very dignified looking flower!
Is it as fragrant as the Versicolor Yellow only a little more on the 'spicy' side?

Alice, let me know if you don't get one..I'll have to start more. My last two plants are small(3 ft) but will put them in the ground this year. The tree in the pic was destroyed by accident at work in the fall.Glad I had backup at home.

Bruno Ver alba has by far the longest and thinnest flowers of all the versicolors. :-)

Lol, thank you! I got it..Wallpaper and Castor.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Absolutely stunning plant.

Burlington, ON(Zone 6a)

This is a pic of the Castor Bean 'Zanzibariensis' I grew last year. We have a 2 story house and it almost reached the eaves on the second story.
The result gave me an idea for planting some of my Brugs this year. I will use the Castor Beans to give shade from the hot noonday sun by planting them on the south side of some Brugs in a sunny location. The foliage on the Castors is open enough to still allow dappled shade and this will allow me to plant in locations I could not use before. :)
Unfortunately, this one got touched by frost the day I took this pic.
