How's your back, LOL.... Broke my favorite shovel digging some one year.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

So are they the perfect thickness for plant stakes or BIGGER?? Nice looking plants! Don't feel too bad Kristi, I bent every tine on my pitchfork doing exactly the same thing! I even cracked the fiberglass shaft. LOL

Brewers, KY(Zone 6b)

'chele, way too big for plant stakes, they were at least 5 inches in diameter. Kristie, I saved my back, they were dug up with a small machine.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Will that grow in zone 5? I'd love to get a start of it if it will. Know of a good place to get some if it is hardy to my zone?

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

I'd like a start of it too, even if it's not hardy in my zone, let me know if we can trade something.

Acton, CA(Zone 8b)

Looks like Phylostachys something or other... a large runner. Careful where you plant it.. will run long distances.

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

We have a stand of bamboo down at the Chesapeake Bay - can't have gloves thick enough when working it as it will slice you up bad if not careful. Is it the same as yours?

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

Hey Haighr- I know where a HUGE stand of GIANT timber bamboo is in Chesapeake Beach, MD. Use to live there.

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

This is a stand on the hill just outside Rose Haven. We have two cottages there one on the beach side of Harrington Harbor and one right on the bay with bulkhead on the right side of Harrington.
