It was 80 degrees Sunday--not a cloud in the sky. I was potting up some brugs outside that Glory had sent me. My DH said " Ah--why would anybody want to leave weather like this and move up north to 20 degree weather with snow and ice" I said "Uh Oh"- in my head. From my DH's his mouth to the "Big Ones" ears. God loves to remind us not to get too comfortable. Woke up to 20-30 degree weather on Monday with ice and snow. It will hopefully be gone tommorrow. Pump froze and I need a bath.... yes, Kell,Ludger,Glory and everybody you can say what ever you to that bit of info. LOL
For Glory
DR,
Your house is very pretty...sure looks cold. It was very nice here today....no snow, no frost. Hang in there kid-o it will be spring before you know it. As far as smelling goes.... as long as our wind doesn't come from the west we'll be ok here. LOL

DR, That's too bad you got hit with a surprise snow but at least it will be gone in a day or two.I've got two feet of frozen snow on the ground and as I write this it is -20.
Snow--If I got that much ice/snow here I could be without power and water for a long time. I don't think I could go with out a bath for more than 3 weeks.
I was wondering what I was smelling DR................
so did you plant your brugs up Sunday and leave them outside? I sure hope not! I am afraid also to move mine out of my hoophouse..the weather is strange! We didn't have a frost till February....and I am afraid of another one will sneak up!
Love your house!
I have to say I love your house too! Re. No bath...at least it's not a hot sweaty day..LOL
No kell I have the brugs inside. Bruno--If is was hot it's easy--I have a swimming pool.
I think it's good that some of you gloaters that tell us how you are having such nice, sunny weather, blah, blah, blah........get some of the "pretty, wonderful" snow that us poor folk up in the tundra zone get!!!!!!!!!!! (In case you can't tell, I AM being sarcastic!!!!!!!!!!) LOL Isn't that the pits when something like that sneaks up on you and you're not prepared, and have your brugs OUTSIDE???? Horrors. I think I would cry if that happened. Good thing you had your newly potted "kids" inside, I'll bet they were happy. I would so love to move to a more temperate climate, but I'm afraid that will never be. *sigh*. Glad I finally have my greenhouse. I think greenhouses should be totally deductable expenses, because they certainly help contribute to our mental stability, don't they?? :>)
Your beautiful house also comes with a swimming pool? Lucky you Desert Rose! Hmmmm, how much is a flight to TX? LOL just kidding!
We have had snow on the ground, pretty much since November, we now have 8" of snow that is staying, cold temps.
