Brug cuttings arrive !!

St. Louis, MO(Zone 6b)

Thank you Glory, the brug cuttings have arrived safe and sound. I photographed each with its name so if the names get separated from the baby, the foot print will tell me which name goes with which baby :-) Now I have to get the feeding formula worked out to raise these healthy cuttings. I now declare myself an addict. I am powerless over brugs and my life has become unmanageble. Is there hope?

do you really want to have everything under control?? LOL!!! I don't, and I think that's how I got so deep into brugs. Nice collection.

Padre,
Glad the Brugs got to you safe and sound.....I'm sure you know this is just the beginning....let me know when you are ready for more. I'm sure there will be lots of Brugs running around here in a few months.

Enjoy!!!!

I am soo . . . jealous; no one has ever offered me brug cuttings. I have just felt lucky to get seeds. I paid $12 through PayPal to someone on this website for cuttings and have never received anything.

Padre, you are a lucky boy!

TLC,
I really hate to hear that...that is so unlike DG people. You might want to remind that person.

Co.Wicklow, Ireland(Zone 8b)

Yeah, i've had things like this done to me plenty of times! You should hear the weird excuses people come up with! I guess it's the risk you have to be willing to take...but this is the first time of heard something like this at DG!

Just make sure you let the person know that you still haven't recieved your cuttings! Ask them what the delay is?Ask them when you can expect them? If the date they give you is a long way away and you are no longer interested you have the right to tell them, no thank you and that you want them to send you back your money ASAP!

Be clear but Never be hard on the person as they may genuinely be haveing problems!

Arlene, when you come to the roundup, there will be some brugs on the table for you to chose from.

Did you write them to ask about the shipment? I had the same thing happen with someone who used to be on this site, but it wasn't brugs. Fortunately I didn't pay a lot. Just a couple of Priority Stamps. Another person sent me a potted plant of the variety I was looking for. Wannabegardener and hubby...if you are reading this.....thanks so much. I'll never forget your kindness.

I had a man on a woodworker website sell me a dust collector for my cabinet saw for $100. I sent the check. He never sent the dust collector. After six months I finally called him and, knowing I would never get my money back, gave it to him. I told him, "You took my dust collector but you cannot take my peace of mind. I forgive the debt." Now I no longer cary the resentment, but each Christmas I playfully send him a Christmas card with a picture of a dust collector on a string which he can hang on his Christmas tree! :-) I must remember that forgiveness is NOT approval. It is letting go.

I should not have posted this at all. Dave's is a fun peaceful place to come to - not to stir up anxiety. I
just received an email from the person who has had many troubles and it seems that I have not been forgotton.

It gave me peace of mind to get that email.

So lets close the subject . . . . Please!
Thank you, everyone.
