Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Janet, The weeping willow trees are easy to root, if you can just get cuttings. I rooted 3 last year in water and they are doing fine. Wish I had a hugh tree, so I could share with ya.

JCF - surface sow the trumpet vine seeds in a container...place them outside on the north side of the house and moisten occasionally. The come up in spring when they are ready. Move to sunshine. Worked for me :)

Hampstead, NC(Zone 8a)

JCF you probably posted this web site before, but here goes
http://theseedsite.co.uk/seedpods.html
They have a detailed listing of how what when where.
Also

Woodburn, OR(Zone 8a)

JCF, The weeping willow tree cuttings have already begun rooting (both in a glass of water and soil)! Another few weeks and they should be ready to go...I need to read the plant trading primer to learn the best way to package plants, I haven't tried it yet!!! Do you want just rooted cutttings, or the ones rooting in soil? Maybe I'll send both, just in case!!

Brooklet, GA(Zone 8a)

thats great, i will takke both if you wopuld not mind. tell me when to send postage. janet

Willows root easily in water. In fact, other cuttings will root better if put into 'willow water'. Also willows are easy just pushed into the soil and kept moist. I have a Corkscrew willow I started that way, it took well, and hopefully will get bushier this year.
