I GOT MY BOOK!!!!!!

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Thank you Monika and Bonnie and all others that helped to bring this great book to us,Thank you Thank you!!!

Now don't mind me if I'm very quite for awhile,SSSSHHHHHH I'm reading.

Monika,My DW(monica) already has said we are going to Germany,LOL

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

My books came today also. Haven't had a chance to look at the translation yet. Had to buy that new washer so I could do laundry. Later tonight, you won't be hearing a word out of me.......that will be a switch, won't it?

Thanks so much to everyone involved in getting this book and it's translation to us. Jeanne, can you teach German?

No, Brugie, my German isn't very good. Monika translated from German to English and I rewrote parts of it to make the English more understandable. In German the verbs go at the end of the sentence etc. There is a big difference in the grammar.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Well, I tried!! I'd love to learn German but I hear it is really hard to speak. Maybe I better just plug away with a translator when I need one. Ludger and Monika do a great job speaking English.

Tampa, FL(Zone 9b)

Where is my book!?! Root you are so lucky, I can't wait to get mine.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I am waiting on the second box of translations.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Thank you Shirley

Florence, AL(Zone 7a)

I can't wait to get mine? tiG, can you tell me if mine's left yet?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

no, I'm waiting on the second box of translations. I'm hoping it will come on in. will have to talk to monica about what I can do if it doesn't come very very soon. I'm so sorry some of you are having to wait, we had no idea the second box would get sidetracked. they were mailed the same day.

Florence, AL(Zone 7a)

You mean I've been sitting by the mailbox in the rain for nothing??? (*grin*)

Such is life---I'll just be SO glad to get mine, whenever! But as a consolation, I have a Suaveolens Pink in bloom in the kitchen right now.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

you're doing better than me!! I don't have a thing blooming. I promise the minute they get here, the rest of the first order will go out.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Bonnie, I asked at the post office and they told me that even SIX weeks would be normal.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

thanks for that info monika, I'm sure they will be here soon.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

I can tell about waiting.....one day I waited about 8 weeks for a parcel from oversea...

Mississauga, ON(Zone 6b)

One day - 8 weeks? You're too cute! Grateful for your input and expertise! LOL.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Sorry, I will buy a new dictionary:

eines Tages adv ( irgendwann )one day

it means:sometime or once or recently I waited 8 weeks for a parcel

Sorry again for this missunderstanding

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Ludger, I speak only English and it's just the kind of thing I would have said. Don't buy a new dictionary, you're doing wonderful.

Mississauga, ON(Zone 6b)

No - don't buy a dictionary. It just struck me as a cute saying - no insult intended!

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Smile,ok.

Benton, KY(Zone 7a)

I want to thank everyone involved in this undertaking.I love my book!

That said..here's a little story that will maybe help those waiting for their books.

I have relatives in Norway with small children.I always send a package for Christmas.Well,I had to use 2 boxes one year because of the size of some things. They were mailed on the same day and at the same time. One arrived 4 days before Christmas...the other arrived 3 weeks later.

Moral to story...never pack a box of children's presents in two seperate boxes...unless,everyone has a present in each box.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Good words,smile

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Have you heard anything yet?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

no, we have another week to put them still in the correct time frame. I will post the minute they come, or monika and I will work something out.
