Just thought you might get a kick of a picture of Annie 'helping' smoke deer bologna last year. That purple purse went everywhere with her, even when she followed her great uncles squirrel hunting. When they missed, you could hear her laughing and going neener, neener, neener!! LOL I dug out the pictures when the men were smoking it this year. They did about 450 rings in about 10 hours.
Mary, your pictures are great. Love to see them.
Jewel, your escape artist sounds like the first steer that my oldest son had. We would tie him up for a while for him to get used to it and by the time we came out of to check on him a little while later, he had the halter out in the corral, stomped into the mud. I can imagine that he got his head out of it, but how the heck did he get untied from the post??? We never did figure that out. We ended up putting a neck rope on him to keep him tied. DS forgot the neck rope at the county fair and old Rex went wandering, visiting the other cattle.
