It's cool but not bad outside this morning. I haven't really been out to do chores yet but stuck my head outside and fired the pistol in the air to let a couple strange dogs know they aren't welcome here. One had on a collar. Probably the first neighbor to the south is their home. Our dogs are all in the utility room so there wasn't a confrontation. These were good big dogs so Hogan would have lost any fight there might have been. Misty & Darcy would likely have made them welcome.
Lisa, I've removed stitches from all of our dogs and the other cats had self disolving stictches. This bandage was stuck to Daisy's remaining hair so I had to cut it off. Then I got a call from our oldest daughter and had to just leave it for Daisy to finish removing herself. When Shad and I got home from Scouts it was off. She lost some hair on one side but the incision looked really good. Today I'll see if we can get her to hold still for removal of the stitches. The only reason I even took her back to this vet for removal of the bandage and stitches is because she has been such a picky eater and I thought I smelled something that might have been infection under there. I haen't been to this vet for a long time and I hope I haven't made him angry so he won't let me come back. He is so reasonably priced for his services. At 40 miles away he is quite a bit closer than the one in Warsaw which is about 6o miles away. 50 is also a much better road than 65.
KathyJo I do hope your new digital camera works. I need to learn how to use ours and post pictures. Shad knows how and does it often when he contacts a former school teacher he is so fond of or his mother by e-mail.
I had to buy sunflower seeds yesterday because I was totally out of them. The poor little wild birds are so hungry this morning. I really need to get out there and get the feeders filled.
Shad's mother, Kris has subscribed to DG. I got the letter this morning telling me about it. I think she is on as KriswithaK. She is quite the yardener even with such a small area to work with. We exchanged seeds Monday when she brought Shad home.
GOD bless and keep each of you.
