While the rest of the US seems to be freezing their bums off, my calla is blooming it's head off.
Great photo of your Calla! Is it inside or out?
Right outside the front door on the deck, facing SE in a tall urn. Likes the cooler winter temps and all the coffee grounds I toss in.
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL !!!!! .....but shame on you for tormenting us. :o)
how do you get rid of some of the calla's.
I have so many in my yard and I want to get rid of some, help please if you know.
Hi,
I'd say dig some of the bulbs up and offer them to DG members for postage. I'm sure there'd be lots of takers. If you want to completely eradicate them from a certain area just make sure you get any wee bulbs that might be forming. Since I took the picture I've moved further north, from Laguna Beach to Cambria, and I can see where they might be a problem. They are everywhere! But I, for one, happen to love them so I just let them be where they want and maybe plant something else around them so it looks "planned." Hope this helps.
