Farm Names

Brownfield, ME(Zone 4b)

Was interested knowing how you came upon the names of your farms. We recently moved where I can finally pursue my dream. We have 20 acres off the beaten path{also have an option to purchase another10-20 acres}, plan on doing some christmas trees and heirloom apple varieties and daylilies. As far as animals my dream is getting into draft ponies esp Norweigen fjords, but being in the veterinary field i imagine i will take in the unwanted. My options are to name the homestead something to do with history of the land there are 2 so far, Ten Mile Brook farm {when the train went thru and crossed the tressle the conductor knew he was 10 miles from the next stop. Another is Moody Meadows Farm, as far has I can figure in the early 1900's this piece of land was known as Moody Meadow I am unable to locate the original site of the farm. Or go with a name not related to the land? I have been enjoying the pictures Thankyou
Lanie
