The flowers from here, look similar to the common plant.

Mysore, India(Zone 10a)

One of the nurseries here is having this plant and the old man there does not seem to divide them and sell the young ones! It is so pretty. I am looking to possess one in my garden.

I say go for it! Dinu it is a bold plant as seen in Eclipse's photo... and would make a wonderful statement in your garden. Do you have a michelia champaca, orange champac
in your garden ? it is the one tree I really have to nurse but so worth it. Of all the other things I have from India in my garden this one demands allot of care.

I have a seedling of this one, I grew it by myself and I'm very proud of it :)
