Remember Bea? She's the beagle from Dayton that was adopted off the streets by my friend and had all those adorable pups? Well, she had her hysterectomy the same day the pups left the nest and then stayed with Bruce's friend Sheila while he was visiting me in California. During his absence Sheila managed to train her to retrieve a ball (as opposed to running away and eating it, which was her former habit). He says she's a much more subdued doggie these days, thank goodness. Here's a great shot of her yesterday. She looks ecstatic with the snow, doesn't she?
