Answered prayers

A new light has entered this world. My granddaughter, Kasiah Grace Hope, came to us this morning at 6:14 a.m. weighing 6 lbs., 14 oz., and 20" long.
When I joined DG in January, tragedy struck our family, our home was lost and 3 deaths darkened our lives. Now our miracle has come and the darkness is lifted. Thanks to you all for your prayers and support.

Kizzy that is so great. My first grandchild(boy) was born at 5:25 p.m. today also after 3 days of trying to stop the contractions. Did you watch?? We did. It was so incredible and I got to cut the cord since the father didn't want to. The big chicken!!!! Poor DH had to leave the room before he fainted LOLOL!!!!!!!!!

Kizzy, congratulations to the new grandchild.

Congratulations Donna :>)
Thank you all for the Blessings and words of encouragement.
My daughter had a birthing room and both of us Grandmas entered the room at the moment Kasiah took her first breath- GOOD TIMING!
I hope to be able to stay on DG, though my computer time and usage is very limited as I am staying with friends and looking for my own place and a job. Though I sometimes feel like I am in a "dark" place in my life, the love I receive from others is always a "light" to see my way clearly. God has given me so many blessings.
Love and flowers, always,
Sharon

Congratulations, Kizzy. Dark clouds usually do have a silver lining. Sometimes it's just hard for us to see, but here is one shining addition to your life.

No, I haven't forgotten you either. Waiting til it's not so cold your way. Do you have the same address?

Congratulations on the grandbaby, Sharon. I hope that you get a chance to post a picture of her. Does Kasiah rhyme (vowel sounds anyway) with Mariah?

You know how it is with young new parents and deciding on the first baby's name--well, they changed it from Kasiah Grace to Isabella Grace. My daughter wasn't as happy, but she said they had to compromise! It's okay with me any way they want to name her, though, because she is an angel, no matter what. Thank you all for your best wishes for us and our newest family member, now formally known as Grace Hope.
Blessings to you all.

Congratulations Sharon to your new addition to the family.
Anyone with the name Grace & Hope has to be a little angel.
