Baker City, OR(Zone 5b)

Happy Valentines day! This morning the yellow kitty was sitting on the porch railing under the bird feeder. I got the camera and took a few pictures through the window, they aren't the best but if I had gone outside she would have jumped down and I wouldn't have gotten anything.
Yesterday it snowed and rained and then was foggy and below freezing all day so I didn't get to go riding, but today the sun is out a bit so I will go even though it is windy and will be stronger up where I ride. For the next few days I will be dodging storms to get some riding done. Tonight hubby is taking me out to dinner so I don't even have to think about cooking anything.
According to my research the bird nest I posted yesterday might belong to a black billed magpie. They build a stick nest and then make a mud and grass inner nest. I see a lot of stick nests in trees but this is the first one I have been able to look into. I was on my way to get a picture of something else when I spotted the nest.
Have a great day everyone, count your blessings.
