Thanks for welcoming me to this great online community. I guess I'll tell you guys a little about myself. I was born in mexico to an american mother and a mexican father. I grew up in missouri and upstate new york. we moved back to mexico about 10 yrs. ago, and that is where I got into plants. Over the last 5 years I have done a couple of permeculture internships, started a landscapeing company and my plant collection turned into a nursery. I grow palm trees, agaves, cycads, aloes,orchids, all kinds of succulents and pretty much anything that gets my attention ?? (I think thats the coolest thing about plants there is always something new and exciting.) The last two years my girlfriend and I have been coming to Telluride Colorado and doing the mountain thing. Due to the fact that it is very hard to get plants ie: seeds, cuttings in mexico i have taken advantage of the great wealth of propagation material available in the united states. so from now till mid april I am trying to find things to take to the nursery. i should be receiving some wodyetia bifurcata (foxtail palm) seeds if any one is interested. I will probably start a string in the trade section. anyway thanks for makiing me feel welcome oh yeah I am also very interested in micropropagation. thanks

Glad to meet you...but let's see how we can shorten your name...any suggestions? We have an open chat on Tuesday evenings at 7 Eastern Time...and on Thursday mornings 7 AM ET...In chat we would never get far by typing your whole user name...and would probably cut it to OS...as mine is usually shortenend to RR or rr.
