Peaches &Creame

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Hi to All,

I really would like to know whether there anywhere are seedlings from P&C. No pollinations, P&C should be the motherplant ( seeds from).

Thank you

Ludger

I have Karma's hybrid from Peaches & Cr. She called it Peachy Cream, it had plain green leaves. I think they said Native Habitat had tried pollinating it and using P. & Cream as the mother, all turned out with white leaves, no green, and died. Think Karma tried P & Cream as the father Ch. Grimaldi as mother.

Gloria, thank you for this information!!!

It shows to me that P&C is doing the same way like Maya:white and going seedlings.

I have a very good discussion with a botanical guy from Austria. He told much about variegated plants.

I wondered about P&C, thank you again.

Ludger, I crossed Bert to Peaches and Cream. They are germinating now and are green. I sent you some of them. Have they germinated for you?

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Jeanne, I am still waiting for germinating, hope it will work...

Please keep your seedlings and watch them very well.

May be you will get a new variegated Brug.

Jean,

Who did you use for "mother", makng the seed pod?

What does Bert look like?

I plan to try my double peach x Peachy Cream.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Some day, Ludger will be variegated too LOL! Keep my fingers crossed, that you will get a variegated hybrid through seeds, Ludger.

If I can get my Peaches & Cr. to bloom this summer, will cross it back with Peachy Cream and double Peach. See if I can't come up with variegated leaves, maybe dbl. blooms!

Thank you Monika

Good luck Gloria

Bert is a aurea multi hybrid that Liz got from a guy name Bert in Vancouver. Bert was the mother and P & C the father.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Thank you Ludger and Jeanne. Maybe we'll get a really good one yet! My Peachy Cream has two "big" buds on it.

I've got three blooms open today on Maya. Any suggestions what a good cross would be? Will pollinate this evening.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Snow, you will get mostly white seedlings without clorophyll. Seedlings will die after some days.

If you will try it use a golden or apricot aurea/versicolor type.

Thanks Ludger. That's what I thought. I'll try it and just not get my hopes up.

Snow, there is a very small chance to get new variegated with Maya as the motherbrug.Maybe ? 1-1000 ? No one knows. We must give it a try.

You have nothing to lose, just might be the one.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I just started some Maya seeds. Unknown father. Won't lose anything but a little time. Someone might be lucky one day.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

AS much mayaseeds will be started as earlier we will know it.

Today, I sowed the grazie variegata seeds. The pod wasnt ripe, it fell off but contained a few seeds, which might have a chance to germinate. Pollinator was an unknown bee!

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

I wish much luck to these seeds, Monika. Hope it was a good bee, lol.
My Grazie varegiata has small buds...

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

I hope so too but they have to germinate first LOL!

Bridesmaid, Anouschka or Blütenzauber, also Carmencita and not to forget, Mobisu stood close to Grazie.

Lets hope all,smile.
